Since 1985, Golden State Appraisals has completed over 17,000 appraisals on mobile and manufactured homes. It has been and continues to be our goal to provide professional quality appraisals for our customers. We use the latest technology to prepare and distribute our appraisals, which includes digital photography and electronically transmitted reports.

Jim Moore - President & Chief Appraiser has over 38 years of total experience in the manufactured and mobile home industry. He founded Golden State Appraisals in 1985 after 10 years of sales management experience in a manufactured home factory and 7 years as the owner of a manufactured home dealership. Jim has been an expert for the California Superior Court in 4 different counties in California, He holds a California Real Estate Broker's License and a California Real Estate Appraiser's License with an MHAS and an MHV certificate.
Mike Lakey - General Manager has been employed with Golden State Appraisals for over 4 years and was previously contracted with the company for 2+ years. He has a degree in Business Administration. His management skills and understanding have helped him to be instrumental in the growth of Golden State Appraisals. Mike has nearly 18 years experience in the manufactured housing industry with the majority of those years in finance. He has also spent time in sales, service, insurance, construction and site preparation for manufactured homes.
Angela Barber - came to Golden State Appraisals in 2003 with over 16 years experience in sales and customer service. She earned her college degree in 1997. She has had several leadership positions prior to coming to Golden State Appraisals. Her organizational skills and desire to help others have earned her the lead customer service position. Her goals at Golden State Appraisals is clear, to offer a level of customer service that places GSA above all other appraisal services in the state of California.
